Digital Education for Inclusive Youth Work Conference

4 jun 2024, 11:00–13:00 | Organizer: Youth Power / Ung Kraft

The Conference is focused on presenting five newly developed educational programs aimed at digitalized and inclusive youth work. These training programs are designed to address key topics such as digitalization, inclusivity, sustainability.

The Conference serves as a platform to showcase training programs aligned with E+ and NFE principles, to the relevant stakeholders, including youth associations and professionals from the educational sector. It is a one-day event that emphasises the digital transformation of inclusive youth work. The programs presented are intended for non-formal education (NFE) in youth work, targeting a comprehensive approach to modern challenges in youth engagement and training.

Our featured Training Programs that will be presented are:

1. Youth in Virtual Environment: Tackle cyberbullying, enhance media literacy, and address internet addiction.
2. Stress Management for Youth Workers: Learn the art of designing stress awareness and regulation activities.
3. Innovative Inclusion in NFE: Discover groundbreaking methods to ensure learning is accessible and enriching for every young person.
4. Sustainability in Youth Work: Learn how to integrate sustainability principles into your educational programs.
5. Digitalization in Youth Work: Step into the digital age of youth work. Enhance your programs with digital tools and methodologies that engage and empower.

Each training session comes with comprehensive instructions, tips for facilitators, list of resources to implement the training and other guidelines for effective implementation in both on-site and online environments, ensuring flexibility and accessibility for all participants. This event is designed for educators, youth workers, and anyone passionate about empowering young people to navigate the challenges of the modern world.

Each program offers numerous educational resources related to various topics and non-formal education (NFE) training. Although these programs are primarily focused on youth work, the training sessions are versatile and can be adapted for other NFE contexts or even other sectors. For instance, companies seeking fun and educational activities for team building or company retreats might find the sessions on stress management particularly useful.

Anyone interested in discovering new group activities that are both enjoyable and educational will find value in the programs presented at this conference.

The innovative aspect of our educational programs lies not only in the introduction of new activities and team games but also in the flexibility of implementation; each session is designed for online delivery as well as on-site execution. This adaptation underscores the project's commitment to digital transformation.

The Conference is organized under the Erasmus+ KA2 Cooperation Partnership project, titled 'Digital Transformation of Inclusive Youth Work.' This two-year project, being implemented in Sweden, Croatia, Germany, and Austria, aims to build the capacities of educators, youth workers, and NGOs.
