The Working Group Standards & Platforms is a think tank for IoT and Digital Twins. It is also a discussion group for W3C - Nordic Chapter Smart City / Web of Things Community Group.
The Working Group meets the third Monday every month. Some of these meeting will be held as hybrid meetings with the physical meeting at GOTO 10, Stockholm.

- Monitors and have deeper discussions on standards, technology trends and business challenges for IoT, Digital Twins + adjacent technologies.
- Drives issues of importance to the participants and IoT in Sweden and the Nordic region.
- Aims to strengthen the participants in the Working Group, Sweden and the Nordic Region as a whole in the IoT area and regarding Digital Twins
- Putting Sweden and the Nordic Countries on the international IoT map by getting involved in European and international standardization for IoT and Digital Twins.
- Topics and content are decided by the participants.
- Participants: suppliers of IoT technology and other industry, consultants, experts, academia, private and public clients, authorities, interest organizations, etc.

More about the market overview of general horizontal IoT Platforms
The Working Group carried out another market survey 2020 where about 15 vendors presented their platforms and solutions. Now we do another round, inviting cooperative organizations and vendors to do a 1-hour presentation each on the meetings of the Working Group during 2024.
The presentations are recorded, and the presenters are asked to also document their presentation by answering several questions that we believe decently cover different aspects of interest for the audience.
At the end of the year we will summarize and discuss the impressions and insights gained during the presentation sessions.
This is a very good opportunity to get insight in where the market stands today regarding IoT platforms, both internationally and in Sweden.
