Dr. Samuel West is a licensed psychologist and innovation researcher. In 2017 he founded the world renowned Museum of Failure ( www.museumoffailure.com ) showcasing innovation failure around the world. The aim of the museum is to stimulate productive discussions about the important role of failure for progress. The exhibition has toured the globe and opens next in Taiwan. Dr. West is also a co-founder of the increasingly popular Disgusting Food Museum.
Description of talk:
The Museum of Failure is a collection of failed innovations that provide unique insight into the risky business of innovation. The stories of the museum items are used as a backdrop to explore the theme of learning from failure.
