In this event we will have a guest speaker: Amankwa Baptiste, Co-Founder and CEO of Seatrients, has an educational background in Sustainability and Organizations (Malmö University) and Environmental Management and Policy (Harvard University). She also has a varied professional background with past roles including being an operations manager as well as a software implementation consultant. With sustainability, health, and environmental impacts of operational activities at the forefront of her interests, Amankwa has now embarked on the mission of finding underutilized resources in marine biosystems all over the world, and trying to encourage the responsible farming of algae to further stimulate the biodiversity of our oceans. She has started this journey with the first product being a smoothie containing a nutrient rich, neutral flavoured seaweed.
