What is Founders Live and the Pitch Event?

Founders Live is a global organization helping start-ups through live pitch events and networks, both in person and online, as well as delivering top-quality, hand-picked resources aimed at helping start-ups succeed. With events in over 50 countries and 125 cities, Founders Live has held hundreds of events and helped launch start-ups to success. The event is an evening where up to five start-ups deliver a 99-second pitch and YOU get to vote who you think has the best pitch. There’s also networking and some light snacks, and alcohol-free drinks. There is no charge for the event, but sign-up is mandatory. If you sign up and then can't make it, PLEASE, cancel your booking as this helps keep the event free.

Why attend?

Unlike other pitch events where a selected jury decides who had the best pitch, at a Founders Live event, YOU get to vote on who had the best pitch and send them further to the global competition, where they have the chance to win $10,000 and other valuable prizes. Be an active part in helping start-ups get the exposure and access to resources they need to succeed.

You also get to network with other like-minded people who have an interest in start-ups and entrepreneurship.

Tentative agenda (subject to change):

• 17.00 - 17.30: Welcome mingle
• 17.30 - 17.45: Event introduction
• 17.45 – 19.00: Start-up pitch event where YOU get to choose the winner
• 19.00 – 20.00: Light snacks and beverages served, time to mingle

Are you a start-up that wants to pitch?

To pitch, you must meet the following criteria:

You need to be an actual start-up, not just an idea or concept. While you don't have to have sales, you should have some traction, like an MVP and yes, even some customers. All are welcome, whether you sit in an incubator or notYou should have a 99-second pitch, with slides, in English, ready to go a MINIMUM of 5 days before the event. Pitches for any purpose, investment, sales, partners, etc., are welcome.

The spots are first come, first served, and Founders Live reserves the right to refuse participation should the start-up not meet the criteria.
